uncrowded beaches or bike trail to Fairhope's Grand Hotel; enjoy First Friday Art Shows and Thursday's Open Market in Fairhope -- our retirees are having it all!   Fairhope has several public fishing piers, but many residents find there way down to the Fairhope Pier better known as Fairhope's Big Pier because it's a great place to mingle and relax since there's always people you know there and aside from the Pier Fairhope also has a park on either side of it with a Duck Pond and in front of the Pier is a beautiful fountain and rose garden.  Fairhope has more recently added a Skateboard Park and Dog Park, and there will soon be a bowling alley.   There's almost year-round activity in Fairhope -- something here for EVERYONE to enjoy!  Fairhope has grown in many ways, yet still very quaint, cozy, and  charming.  There are quite a few Artists and Writers who enjoy the quiet way of life along the Eastern Shore.

Baldwin County is loaded with golf courses; lush, green farmland; many new subdivisions.  Other amenities of the area include 5 Rivers in Spanish Fort; malls in Malbis and Foley, and coming soon to Daphne, including a new Bass Pro-Shop; and new industry such as Austal and ThyssenKrupp, plus a large cruise line nearby in the Mobile.
